Werribee Mansion

One of Melbourne's most impressive mansions and gardens is the Werribee Park Mansion. Built by the Chirnside Family in the 1870s, the Mansion shows the affluence and lifestyle of one of Victoria's early farming families. The Mansion was Victoria's largest private residence at the time and is situated on 10 hectares of formal gardens, featuring a lake and grotto, parterre, gate lodge and farm buildings.
